American Airlines on Thursday explained it was capping fares on many U.S.-sure routes from Europe as tourists race to get property because of to Trump’s new vacation ban, aimed at combating the unfold of coronavirus. 

Other airways could follow fit. Trump Wednesday evening introduced journey limits from Europe to the U.S. for 30 days as COVID-19 spans continents.

“We are putting caps on our fares for all cabins on flights from Europe to the U.S. that are impacted by the govt-imposed travel limitations,” reported American Airlines spokesman Ross Feinstein.
